Wow, a whirlwind just past through my life! My grandkids were here for four days--last Sunday until Thursday morning--and Shonnie and I both really enjoyed our time with them. That's them kissing at the top of this page, though Molly's now nine, and Jack is six. They say that Shonnie is too young to be a grandmother, so they refer to her as Aunt Shonnie.
We slid down Sliding Rock, went whitewater rafting on the Pigeon River, and made a visit to the book and toy stores. Evenings were generally ouccupied with the adventures of Harry Potter via the printed word and DVD.
Loving and loveable kids. I'm really grateful that their mom (my daughter), Lilla, entrusted them to us while she visited a friend in Charleston. And, once we catch our breath, maybe we'll be ready to think about our next visit.
