I enjoy hearing from folks, especially those of you who are supportive of the emerging cultural paradigm of compassion, connection, justice and sustainability. In fact, one of my favorite activities is reading your responses after I've written something especially provocative or evocative. Your messages help keep me focused and motivated and often provide me with ideas for future editorials, essays and books. Because I receive a lot of email, I just don't have the time or the resources to respond personally to every message I receive. I do, however, endeavor to read every message provided that they are not too lengthy. In addition, because of computer viruses, I do not open attachments and have been known to delete messages with attachments upon receipt if they appear to be at all suspicious.
